At 12 years old I moved to Austin Texas where I started to excel in my art classes which led me to create many sculptures and drawings. I joined Metamorphosis Dance and continued my dance training through high school. During this time my mother continued designing and creating costumes and I started to actively assisting her in sewing and detailing. By the time I graduated high school I was creating my own costumes, building large sets and props for performances, winning junior awards at art shows and intensely dancing year round as a senior company member. I also started to sell commissioned sculptures and business Logos for professional companies including Metamorphosis Dance.
About me
I am an Artist with a strong focus in Set design, fabrication and costuming for film and theater. I enjoy creating physical environments using mold making, faux finishing and sculpting techniques.

My artistic background begins at the young age of 7 when I started in dancing at Washington State Ballet. I was exposed to design very early on when I watched my mother and grandmother create stunning costumes for countless ballets for my sister before me through the years. My grandmother taught me how to sew when I was in elementary school so I could help her make my own dresses for my dolls. I watched intently as she made Tutus and dresses by hand for Washington State Ballet in which my myself and my peers wore while performing Ballets like The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty. My childhood consisted of ballet training under Maricar Drilon and Jazz training under Carla Kendall-Bray. During the summers in between school I participated in many summer intensives including training with Long Beach Ballet Arts.
